Common questions.
What is MASH?
Fat buildup and inflammation in the liver linked to metabolic conditions such as diabetes and excess weight. It used to be called NASH.
I’ve never been diagnosed. Can I still join?
Possibly. If you have diabetes or excess weight, a study may include tests to check your liver.
Is a liver biopsy required?
Some studies require one, and many use imaging instead. The consent form explains it before you decide.
